LORI PATRICK
SYMPOSIUM FOUNDER / INSTRUCTOR
Lori Patrick has traveled the globe seeking images with a journalistic eye.
As a studio owner and educator, she founded Portrait Symposium in 2022 to give photographers a fresh approach to hands-on education in the spectacular studio space called Art Factory along with expert guest instructors .
Photographer education is in the forefront of Lori’s expertise whether 1:1 or small groups focusing on portfolio builds and practice for an ever changing industry.
Lori has had speaking engagements at WPPI, PhotoPlus Expo, B&H Photo - Depth of Field Conference and PPA.
She hosts photographers with her cultural travel program called PhotoCoteries exploring Cuba, Morocco, Italy, NYC and more regions coming soon.
She was one of the first hosts of photographer FB groups fostering them since 2010 starting with CreativeLIVE Alumni with over 60,000 membership.
An award winning journalist in the Photo-Essay category, Patrick specializes in human interest stories and stage performances since 2007, photographing artists through the years including Elton John, Rod Stewart, Alice Cooper, Joe Cocker, Shinedown and many more.
